I take it you work out? Muscle gain perhaps?

it could easily be muscle you have gained. I find that the scale can be our worst enemy. I would suggest taking measurements atleast once a month and also progress photos. I take photos every week and some weeks I have gained but my photos show the cm's I have lost

I find if I eat the same amount of calories and do the same amount of exercise in a day but change my feasting window from morning to afternoon the same thing happens, I land up picking up and not losing, fasting in the afternoon and evenings just works better for me.

Don't just use a scale. Pictures, measurements and scale. That way you can see if it's weight gain or muscle gain.

I agree @WombRaidR, pictures are a better means of measurement when you've been consistent with your workouts and eating. Good luck 🤞🏼

Richard dear... please research fat loss Vs weight loss... not all weight gain is weight gain and weight loss is not only linear. a kg is also just a kg... and with exercise and eating, you may just be retaining water or cortisol levels are a bit higher than usual. if you are doing the things, then keep doing the things. these fluctuations happen and are an important part of the process. fat in cells breaks down... but the cell still exists so it holds water until it breaks down...and then a few days later. whoosh. please don't deny yourself your meals for fear of weight gain... you needs the fuel to run your body and keep your bones and muscles healthy.

@shereen - you are so right there is a bug difference. Richard, it might only be muscle. I also only lost 1gram. we must always remember 1 gram lost is 1 gram closer to our target. we gain muscle, sometimes water gain. we need to keep going. You got this.
