Delish & easy to prepare. I put mine in a low carb wrap & added sour cream & salsa. My kids LOVED it!

I made this last night and it was great! I added an entire shredded zuchinni while I was browning the meat and everyone loved it even though they don't eat zuchinni.

I added a teaspoon of cumin, a teaspoon of chili powder, 1/3 cup onion and 1/3 cup green peppers. Using a Mexican cheese mix in place of the mozzarella and the cheddar. This gave me a Southwestern flair to the pie. My friend and I were tempted to eat the whole pie, but, managed to stop just short. One serving is just not enough! The changes weren't absolutely necessary, but, I love to "play" with my food. It'll be different the next time I make it, as well!

Looking at the recipe here, I must have a slightly different version. It calls for the onion soup mix, which is what made it way too salty. I will try this version next time and see if it is less salty because it was really good.

i loved this recipe even my husband ate and asked me to make it again in the near future!. I added some ingredients though, green scallions with the meat, one tsp of dijon mustard with the egg and mayo. The cheese mozarella cheese i added on top as the last layer. i had an iceberg salad, cucumbers and plum tomato on the side. overall it was a success. thank you.

Yes, this is good for induction. To lower carbs do not use low fat cheese. To avoid greasiness, pour the cooked hamburger into a colander, drain and rinse with hot water. I also added onion and garlic powder.

Mayo-- Miracle Whip is kinda weird but tastes ok. More than a dash of pepper in the topping is needed.. per the hubbby! Other htan that GREAT low carb option.
