These Chia Seeds are actually from Montagu. R40 for 200g is the cheapest I could find.

That is the general pricing. I pay R5 for a 25g packet. You can get them cheaper if you buy bulk of 2kg or 5kg from healthfood warehouse. Their website is https://www.healthfood-warehouse.co.za/collections/all-seeds

Thanks BBO! This site looks great! Wish I could order loads, but the silly season's left me a bit 'platsak' for now.

Juanri I just add a 25g packet to about 200ml water then seal the container and leave in the fridge to soak overnight. Once they soak you can use it in a variety of ways. Just mix protein powder into it to make a pudding dessert for a simple idea. I add shredded coconut, oats, chopped peanuts and mix it all up then add some yoghurt and fruit. Google recipes. Nikina u are welcome :)

JuanriF I soaked the oats and chia overnight with half a cup of soya milk (trying dairy free for 3 weeks starting today). Sometimes I just soak 10g overnight in about 60ml of water and then it's like a gel the next day to add to oats or yoghurt. Found it helps to increase my fibre intake and improves digestion.

That's actually not a bad price for Chia, that's usually what they cost for 100g...
