Don't fixate too much on just the weight goal. It's all about body fat percentage and that can still go down even when weight loss looks slow.

if you are consistently in a calorie deficit you will lose weight. If you are not it means you are not in a deficit and you need to adjust your calories downwards or your acticity level upwards. I usually recommend making 100 cal per day adjustments.

Try and hold on to your calories rather then dropping it every week, if fat loss stops then go cardio route and burn off 100 calories instead of dropping another 100 calories from food. You don't want to get to the point where your calories is so low that you metabolism goes low.
