Aaah man, I just loooovvveee fasting! Already 300 gr down from Friday's weigh-in.

Whoop whoop.

Next week this time I'll be in Ireland for my honeymoon! I'll probably pick up quite a bit of weight, but hey! I don't mind.

Oh you must enjoy it! When you fast what do you do? Some eat something small or drink a certain drink...

@AnitaPaddison - week days I only eat dinner, I drink coffee & water during the day, & on weekends, I add lunch to my days after 12. That's all.

Hi, I also do the fasting sometimes because im so busy at work, however try carrying a carrot around, you will be amazed at how filling it is. And it makes you thirsty so you also drink lots of water. Also change your sugar to Sweetners, makes so much of a difference.

Uhm... @sweetnessM, I don't get hungry at all during the day at work, so I don't even need the carrot, & also I drink my coffee black without sugar. :-)

Hey Leksie, I've been trying 16-hour fasting, and it's definitely helping (also take my coffee black at work). How long are your fasts? I'm a bit nervous about extending my fasts any longer than 16 hours per day.

Pollylock1 why are you nervous about extending your fasts for longer than 16 hours? I usually do 40 hour fasts and it has helped me to lose over 35kg. It all depends on how you adapt to it. It gets better and easier in time :)

I've done a 24-hour fast before and started feeling light headed at the end! Maybe I need more practice 😆

Practice makes perfect :) Maybe start by doing a 16 hour fast followed by a maximum of 500 calories. For example if you fast from 8pm today until midday tomorrow then limit your calories in your remaining hours before you sleep to 500 calories. The trick would be to make meals of foods that give you big volume but low calories.

@Pollylock1, my fasts are usually around 22-23 hours a day. I don't eat dinner at exactly the same time every night, but it averages out. Let me tell you, I was also dreading eating nothing at all during the day, then I decided I'll start with Wednesdays only for the first month, but that first day was sooooo easy, I decided to it the next day as well. And as they say, the rest is history! I've been fasting like this for a year and half now! And I will never change back.
