Oladushki

Kefir & flour cakes, similar to mini-pancakes. A traditional Russian dish cooked in a dietary way.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Beat eggs with sugar.
  2. Add kefir and salt, stir.
  3. Add flour and baking soda and stir once more.
  4. Using a tablespoon, spill little circles of dough into the hot slightly greased frying pan (like small pancakes, about 3 or 4 at a time).
  5. Fry for 1 minute on one side, 30 seconds on the other.
  6. Serve with creme fraiche (sour cream), condensed milk or other sauces of your choice.

Nice low calorie count as long as you don't add naughty toppings.
