Us guys also go through those kind of phases. I've found that since living a fasting lifestyle, it helps alot with focus, concentration, self confidence, etc. There's various studies about how fasting helps with hormones. Goog

I have some harsh discussions with myself very often and it always ends with the same question 'do you really want this'

Hang in there. Some days are better than others. My previous 2 weeks consisted of a lot of tears, bottles of wine, shouting & picking myself up & just carrying on!!

Hello everyone! I started on a ketogenic eating plan on 18 Oct 2017 weighing 108kg . I started running/walking 2kms every day and gym on Saturday & Sunday. I have lost 6.1kg as I am now 100.1kg. I have found that unsweetened and no salt peanut butter helps with cravings. I have also curtailed my liquor intake. I have half a glass of white dry wine with Sprite Zero and lots of ice. I also treat myself once a week to a G&T with a sugar free tonic that you can find at Woolworths Food. Let us keep on trying and be committed to good food choices! it is about our health and wellness. #lifestylechange

HI Denise, Try not to focus on "why"BUT look at what you can & will achieve!!! From what I see in your photo you are beautiful already so take the next step! Baby steps at a time. You will make it & when you look back THIS feeling would be long gone!!!

You are doing well. Also understand that you are human and these feelings will keep on surfacing however its best not to let tjem overwhelm you to such a point that you go back to old habits. i relate to how you feel today i just wanted all things not good for me however i managed to ask myself what do i want in the end. and ended up having a small cheat meal the rest was all healthy and ive just come from gym. keep on keeping on.

Don’t give up and most importantly don’t be too hard on yourself. My sister and myself go through it too and it is incredibly frustrating. But just try and remind yourself, happy eating - happy heart. Xx stay strong

I watched "that sugar film" recently and it talks about how hidden sugars contribute to your moods. Also, I know that low glucose / low carb diets make all people feel moody sometimes (also discussed in That Sugar Film). And therefore to stabilize those moods, you can add some complex carbs to your diet or go for a VitB injection every week. And then you also have to remember: we are woman with 28 day cycles :-) The low's make the high's so much better. All the best! WE're all going through what you go through!

Don't think of it as a diet but a lifestyle it makes it easier. I've put on 6kgs since winter and that really depresses me especially while I was on workshops because I know that eating at 9pm is NOT GOOD for me!!!! Now that I'm home again and have nothing I am going to work at it again. I feel like a whale :(
