If you’re anxious or scared, it’s probably not sustainable J. I would suggest finding something that works for you. When I first decided to lose weight, I tried banting and severe diet restriction and while it worked at the beginning, I would have huge binge days which just made me gain everything back. Since then, as of 2020, I am calorie counting and WOW - I cannot emphasise how amazing it is. I eat whatever I want (in moderation) and allow science to take over. In the end, weight loss depends on burning more calories than you are consuming. That’s it. If you want a quick fix, then carb cutting will work phenomenally ,, but if you would like to give CC a chance, let me know and we can discuss 🥰 while you might not drop a kg a day, you will lose at a healthy rate .. I had to accept the hard truth that I did not become obese in a day, so why do i expect to fix everything in a week? Good luck xx rooting for you!

Morning Jade. Sorry, I think your journal was on private so I couldn’t view or reply to your previous message.. but a food scale is definitely a step in the right direction, then all you have to do is count them calories. I don’t believe in dropping you calories too low (especially if you do exercise). Maybe keep carbs low (I don’t) if you’d like to lose weight at a faster pace. You will do amazing! And I’m here to support you every step of the way! Amazing drop!

I am sorry to hear you were not well like that! Totally agree with Thilesa re the scale and weighing everything. My eye is definitely on the heavy side when I try to guesstimate portions. I don't think it matters what plan you follow as long as you have a deficit, even with keto I still count calories. For me though any kind of sugar is like poison for my body and stalls my loss efforts. But there is nothing wrong with it if your body can manage it. Like Thilesa said too, you have to find a plan that works for you and is sustainable so that it becomes your new lifestyle and not a diet. What I love about this app is that everyone has their thing that works but that we can all share in each other's victories. I have found the support here absolutely amazing and it motivates me big time ❤️

I’m standing a good chance because I always do better at the end of the month when I’ve got no money for food 😂😂 I opened my last can of pilchards today so I’ll split that over a few days but by Monday I’ll be eating desiccated coconut probably because that’s one of the last things I’ve got besides for eggs in my cupboard ahahah
