I know this is probably the weirdest thing you have ever read on FS but is there anyone on here that lives in Durban and goes to the Planet Fitness gym?

Reason I am asking is that my online coach for the challenge I am starting next month has told me I need to do more weight training and less cardio. I am clueless in the weight section and feel very intimidated around all the men in that section of the gym so I am hoping to find a gym buddy there.

I go to Better Bodies Health Studio in Hillary, Durban. They have a separate section for females with its own weight rack, barbells, etc. It's a private run gym and the owner and staff are very friendly. They always around to assist and motivate. Perhaps if its not far from you, you can consider that as your next gym.

Our gym has a female section but its so small can probably fit 4 ladies doing weights in and then they only have a few cardio machines in that section. I still have a whole year contract with my gym but will definitely look into it when my contract is up.
