I just thought this might be helpful for people with weight fluctuations. My weight is always up and down, some days up over a kg then down a bit then up etc etc. But since December I am down 7kgs. So don’t despair the non-linear progress

This is encouraging, thank you for sharing. It can be frustrating seeing those fluctuations and feeling like you're not making any progress.

i have a similar issue luckily its 1 step back 2 steps forwards and not the other way around

this is the difference between weight loss and fat loss. weight loss accounts for daily fluctuations because of water retention, hormones etc etc... fat loss cuts through all the fluctuations and is a straighter line. fluctuations are 100% normal and happen throughout the day. so thanks for sharing. it's good for people to know that it's ok. just because your scale is up does not mean you've gained weight. it's just part of the process.

Good conclusion there shereen! I think if people can avoid the emotional rollercoaster that comes with weight fluctuations, your mental health space is just better as well
