15kgs lost over 2,5 years. So those who are losing slowly, keep at it, bit by bit. I would lose in spurts then plateau for months, my longest plateau was a year. I eat low carb, gluten free, low dairy, high protein, lots of veg and good fats.

slow and steady wins the race. I allowed myself three years to drop 30kg. for me it's about maintenance, so I like to lose slowly, because it gives my body time to settle and adapt... I think of it as fat-memory (not muscle memory) I dont know if that's a thing, but I want my body to forget what it was like to be almost 100kg, so I stick at a similar weight for a few months at a time. last year I only lost around 3-4kg but I dropped a dress size (and a bit) slow loss I also believe is what's helped to prevent me from having lose skin around the tummy area. it's also made it easier for me to sustain this new lifestyle... because it absolutely is not without indulgence here and there. 🐌❤️😉👍🏽💃🏽🎉🥊

You are right Shereen! I do also think about set point and how you body takes time to adapt to something lower and thus can find and accept a new lower set point :)
