Feeling very frustrated..I knew the kg’s would fall a bit slower toward the end but I just can’t get past the 79’s..even though I’m sticking to 1200cals a day..I eat healthy snacks etc..I’ve lost 36kg already..I have no motivation and feeling so despondent..I have 15kg to go to get to my goal and it feels like a mountain ahead of me! 😩😩😩

Hi! Congratulations on your epic weight loss! You really are such an inspiration, and well done. After five months a reached a plateau and despite consistently exercising and eating in a caloric deficit my weight did not budge for two months! But I kept at it. You'll find lots of information about overcoming a plateau from credited professional on YouTube. Stay motivated and be patient, this is your new lifestyle and although you have a specific goal, also celebrate the non scale victories. Adding an extra km to your walk, taking the stairs comfortably, instead of the lift - that really motivated me to keep going.

Hey. Congrats on your AWESOME weight loss. Sometimes it helps to change your routine to help drop stubborn weight. Maybe try Intermittent Fasting for a while? Or do different type of workouts than what you usually do. Sometimes all the body needs is a change. Good luck!

Try not to go by weight and rather go my measurements (i.e. with a tape measure). If you’re eating more protein and exercising more, you’ll be putting on muscle, which can make it seem like you’re not progressing on the scale x

Yes! I concur with everyone. Well done to you on such great weight loss. And the advice to hang in there, switch things up and watch YouTube professionals for advice on breaking weight loss plateaus is sound! Do that. Lemme add what I have learned about this online. Your 1200 calories stopped being a 'deficit' as your weight decreased. As weight loss occured, your now lighter body needed even 'less' calories to just function. Either you eat even (ridiculously) less calories or up the calories you burn to continue losing weight. Since it's insanely unhealthy to eat less than 1200kcal and also not ideal or even easy to burn enough calories through exercise; consider finding out about calorie cycling. Also after such a wonderful weight loss feat, maybe just consider maintaining this weight for a while. Enjoy the new mobility and lightness even of being that comes with where you are now. All the best.
