Studies have shown that women are often too hard on themselves and won’t recognize results in themselves. What really helps me, it to take progress photos every two weeks. You’ll be amazed at the changes that you see!

For some motivation - look at the most recent photo of yourself, compared to a photo that you can find of yourself before you lost weight

I also measure myself in cm, and then track that over time

Well done on such an incredible feat. I’m hoping that you are not comparing your body to those you see on SM with the before and after photos….please try to be kind to yourself and celebrate yourself. Sometimes we romanticise what weight loss will look and feel like on ourselves but all of that is in the mind. You can romanticise gratitude for your body being able to achieve anything and everything you take it through and love it for what it’s able to do for you. Try not to be conditional in loving yourself. Sending you lots of positive energy ❤️

First of all well done!!! Not many people can get as far as you have.
In my experience, other people see the loss while I don't. I lost over 40kg and have kept it off for over 5 years and I still look in the mirror and see fat. 🤔. It's called body dimorphia. I dropped 5 kgs under my ideal weight, which freaked everybody else out and yet I still didn't see it.
There are still days where I look at my size 32 jeans and can't believe I can fit in them. It takes time for your brain to catch up with reality. Celebrate the victories, fitting in a smaller size. Being able to get up the flight of stairs without stopping for breath. Just keep on keeping on and you'll get there.

Well done 👍🏽 20kg is not child’s play. Dnt be hard on yourself what matters now is you are healthy and you have proven that you are good in being consistent 😍🥰

Many people agree that when you feel like this look at old pictures and it will show you how far you've come, sometimes our minds lie to us and our thoughts are not the truth... trust me 20 is a big number and takes hard work. The trick with this weight loss thing is the more we lose the harder it gets, AND longer it takes. Hope this helps.

20kg should be noticeable on clothes, in particular. You might not realize because you see yourself everyday. I also felt like I haven't lost anything, but my clothes are a lot baggier than I remember three months ago.
Be proud of your accomplishment, you're gonna make it.

Remember that weightloss is not only visible on the scale, but also in how your clothes fit, how much energy you have throughout the day, how you sleep and so many other more important ways. Muscle weighs more than fat, remember that!

Next time you are at the shops, pick up a 20kg bag of dogfood or rice. You will be amazed at how heavy that is! Just think, you used to carry that weight with you everywhere you go. Well done one you progress!
If you want to see more changes in how your body looks, you can try increasing your protein intake and adding weights to your excersize so you can build more muscle and look more toned.
