This morning I did:
Heather Robertson - LOW IMPACT HIIT Workout (With Weights)

Evening workouts are not working at all this week. I did manage a decent walk on Monday and Wednesday though and I'll probably do one on Friday as well. Don't know what's up with me and don't really have any good excuses. I think I need to set a specific time to workout - perhaps 6pm. This week I had 7 or 8 in my mind and never 'got around to it' so perhaps if I set my mind to doing it at 6 and then have a quick shower and my evening snack when schlomping commences - maybe that would work. We'll see. Either that or I'll have to get up an hour earlier to keep it in the morning, which I actually do prefer. Maybe that's the way to go, but I guess I'll smooth things out in this coming week.

This evening we're going to a Meetup curry night at a local pub. There are meant to be 20 people attending so that's slightly daunting, but hubby seems keen to change it up from card playing on Friday evenings. Because my calories are way over today I'll try to keep them in check over the weekend. I was so happy to get to 1845 average daily calories last week and was hoping to improve this week, but if I can keep it under 2000 I guess that will be fine (for now).

Hope you're all having a great week! It's almost weekend!!!

Good job on figuring out how to get your workout in. And schlumping! That's a good word. 😁 I'm thinking your schlumping time is important. 👍 The Curry meet up sounds like fun. I hope you enjoy. 💕

Thank Becky! I'm sure we will enjoy the meet up. Yes, I do think schlumping time is important too, but I'll have plenty of that over the weekend so I need to get my week a bit more productive. Hope you're having a wonderful Thursday! xxx

Thanks Mermee! Yes, it was lovely to chat to some new folks and enjoy a meal out for a change. That was the only workout for the week so far so I need to get out of my rut too. Hope you have a fabulous weekend too dear friend! xxx

Thank you Shrewd!!! I hope you're having a Spectacular Saturday too! The curry night was on Thursday and it was quite fun, thanks for asking! There were 15 people in the end and hubby and I went down early and helped the organiser to move some tables together to accommodate everyone as he couldn't book them. They were all really friendly and there was another newcomer to the area who's only been here for less than 2 weeks so it was great not to be the newcomers for a change. The food wasn't great, but it was value for money, which was fine. Strange to hear that some people have been part of these Meetup groups for 6 and up to 10 years already. We're hoping we'll make some good friends and not have to attend these for years to come, but maybe it's just a way of constantly meeting new people, which could be fun too. Strangely enough half of the table said they had never watch Game of Thrones, which is so funny to us - thinking that as it's a UK production everyone here would have seen it multiple times as we have (even though we're not fans of how it ended). But oh well - apologies for this long comment - guess I was in a chatty mood... :)
