I think you know exactly what to do 😄 you can do it Divine. If you’ve made up your mind. You can have an indulgent meal and be within your RDI. Planing out your meals in advance is the best thing you can do. And since you’re self catering. You will know exactly what is in everything. Hope you have a good time and come back a few grams lighter❣️❣️❣️

Just count the calories of everything you consume so that you stay in the scope of your daily intake. Have half a scoop of ice cream instead of the full one. Meat with only side salad instead of a garlic roll, etc.

Braai is usually great. Mb steak and green salad, i also buy low carb garlic roll. Sugar free drinks and Triggz popped corn chips, humus as dip, sugar free cookies. I think the key is to be prepared, if others are having coke, have your coke zero etc.

While driving, take already prepared meals with you for the road like boiled eggs or a salad you made the night before instead of eating the pies and things you buy from a garage x

when I was on holiday a while back, I followed a 80/20 rule. Three out of my four meals were healthy and one was a treat. Eat healthy 80% of the time basically. you can also do it per week, 80% of your week healthy and 20% lekker;-)

salads can be that most surprising and delicious item on the menu... just because you're on holiday doesn't mean food rewards mean eating junk food. when I'm on holiday, I still practice fasting. I'm still having to eat, so I choose to eat the healthier options... I'm finding a lot that the words I use really matter... rather than, "I'm dieting so I can't have that" I rephrase with "I respect my body and want to feed it with what serves me best" ... it's about creating balance and helps you build towards moving away from diet mentality to making it lifestyle

I tried the 1st day to keep a calorie count. Day 2, we braaied way too much and it didn't help that I was on vacation with 3 skinny people who wanted pancakes and syrup for breakfast. I can't be trusted with toasted marshmallows! Gained 1.1kg. Back on the wagon today.
