Hope you recover good. Do you think keto was a main contributor to this?  

I'm so pleased you are doing better! Those health scares are no joke.  

Supergainz no it was a congenital birth defect in my aortic valve (bicuspid valve) that went undetected until a heart murmur showed up at my latest physical. Further tests revealed the aneurysm. We were going to schedule the surgery during the summer but things literally blew up on a business trip. Way out of left field. Surgeon said I was born that way and things just came to a head now. 

So very happy that your aneurysm was detected and that you are on your way to a full recovery.  

Do you smoke in addition to doing Keto? I'm with Super -- the Keto diet along with carrying around the extra weight and a compromised aortic valve is really asking a lot from your heart. Hopefully you'll get referred to a registered dietician for a long-term plan for weight loss and heart recovery. Glad to hear you're fighting it and the stroke didn't do irreversible damage.

Glad you are recovering! That must have been soi scary, especially cuz you were out of town! Keep posting on your progress please!💜My issue is also a birth defect that has gone undetected. Mine is an injection fraction issue, Dr said my valves as as good as a 30 year old , healthy person!
