Cheer up! I've looked at you diet plan and I'm impressed! 20g carbs for months. That's cool! Keep it up! I'm also on keto. But it's my first month. We all know that plateau comes natural at certain point, so just be patient. Or, as an option, change your 'fat-to-protein' proportion to 60% fat / 30% protein. but I'm pretty sure you body just need some time to re-arrange the processes for a new race! Good luck!

It could be because your leptin levels are all time low. You need a carb reefed to boost your metabolism and raise leptin levels. I'm guessing you've been on keto for a while now so a carb reefed is imperative. It will knock you out of keto for two or three days but then you'll be back in.

@ Artem, thanks for the encouragement. I will see how it goes this week, Then I will try the Fat / Prot ratio. For some reason I think it might be my water intake is to low. @ Sparid, thanks for the advice. I am going up into africa at the end of October then I dont have a option but to eat carbs, and will assist with the leptin levels. @ LCFF, I am Male.

@ Sparid, thanks for the advice on the leptin levels. Seriously interesting and I didn't know how much it could affect me. Thanks :-)

The "cheat" meal is actually a misnomer. Most people think it's to keep you sane or "reward" you for being good all week but the real reason is actually to boost leptin and up metabolism. You'll find bodybuilders busy with a cutting regime will have a cheat meal or more aptly called a carb reefed. With any calorie restricted diet your metabolism naturally drops therefore by bingeing once a week you kick your metabolism and put it into overdrive. It is very important to exercise a large muscle group like the legs the day after a cheat meal day this fires up the metabolism more. If you don't have any blood pressure issues/sensitivity to stimulants/depression etc you can add a fatburner.
