Sabzia's Journal, 09 Oct 20

This is the first time I've gained since starting - and I have to admit I'm pretty bummed out. In the past, this is usually the point in a diet where I just simply give up, but this time I won't. I'm going to make this happen come hell or high-water (or in this case, chip rolls ;)

do yourselves a favour and research weight loss Vs fat loss. weight loss is not linear. our fat cells store triglycerides and as we lose weight, the fat breaks down but the cell still exists. it fills with water. then over a period of time the water and cell break down. ⬇️⬆️⬇️💹 even though your weight loss may reflect weight increase according to your scale... there is a lot going on behind the scenes. I suggest you get intimate with your fat secret graph. you'll notice that even though there are peaks and valleys the overall trend would be downwards... that's the difference. fat loss is what you want, so embrace the peaks because that is your body at work changing itself

Thanks Shereen - researching as we speak. I appreciate your support and advice. I also know that while I have cut down on calories, I need to replace the unhealthy food with more raw food. But on the plus side I have started walked regularly now, so going to keep going with the help of people like you!

Sounds like you really have a clear direction for yourself X keep at it. Consistency is key... It's worth the time it takes ❤️

I am in exactly the same situation. Lost 20 Kg's since January. Now in the last few weeks I put two kilos on again. Just like you, this is the time when I would throw in the towel and give up. But your post has inspired me to persevere and the previous post about weight loss vs fat loss was also hugely inspiring! Thank you to both of you.
