kather1612's Journal, 04 Jan 19

Yesterday I set my goals for 2019. Instead of setting ridiculous goals that I can't stick to, I decided that moderation will be my healthy lifestyle word for the year. I want to be consistent instead of crazy strict and guilt tripping myself. I'll be reading up on the how part for this so if anyone has any suggestions, please share them.

Totally agree. It's got to be realistic. There's no fast fix.

I am big into tracking my healthy habits. I literally draw a table in my diary that I can tick off my health goals. This serves as a visual reminder to what I want to achieve, it acts as a star chart (I'm a big kid and like rewards) and it gives me something to hold myself accountable to. Every month I select just a few habits that I want to improve so that it is achievable and not overwhelming.
