morning guys, I need help.. I'm trying to loose 3.8 kg but I'm noticing that with weightlifting I'm bulking on my thighs so i gain more and I don't want that I want slimmer thighs, which direction can I take into achieving my goal?
72.2 kg Lost so far: 7.8 kg.    Still to go: 12.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Light weights, lots of reps. And brisk walking with no incline. Will slim the legs. Don't forget to always stretch your muscles

It may also depend on the type of exercises you're doing for thighs/legs. I've found that I build muscle really easily in my legs, so I've avoided doing compound leg exercises (such as squats and lunges) so as to not get bulky legs. I do more targeted strength exercises that focus on muscle isolation. For example, bridges and donkey kicks for the butt, and variations of leg raises for inner and outer thighs. I don't really do anything for the quads, because my quads are strong enough. Since I workout at home, I only use resistance bands and ankle weights as my weights (so that's light weights) and I change up the movement once I feel like it's no longer challenging. I'm naturally bottom-heavy, so my legs are always going to look thicker than my upper body, but doing this has helped me look more proportioned. Good luck :)

Don't do upper legs then. Skip quads and Hamstrings. Do cardio. Light weight and height reps for "toning" is a myth. You're basically doing cardio at that point so just do cardio.

All I can say is do cardio, and swimming, only doing weights will definitely cause muscle gain so make sure to alternate between weights and cardio, however swimming is the best way to tone up.
