Wow, women are vicious. Rather than being supportive, I got a "well, you certainly look better than the last time we saw you" followed by some other stuff that just wasn't necessary. I'm not going to hold it against anyone, but I will try and be more mindful of how I treat others. I may also need to downsize my friend list a little. No one needs that. That's all on that subject.

Going to be a challenging week, I have three more dinners/HH this week. I'm avoiding alcohol via Lent. Most people leave that alone. Food is going to be interesting. I will be careful all day and then eat bird size portions of the low carb stuff. Bringing a salad to the HH potluck so I'll have something I can eat.

Seeing three great friends tonight at an Italian restaurant. That's going to be the toughest one. I am going to have the seafood stew. Decided in advance. Makes it easier. Weigh in on Friday, currently tracking for 1.5-2 for the week, that's the motivation to keep things under control. I've decided that as my pants start to fall off (yes!), they can just go into another bag for Goodwill. I have plenty of smaller sizes to replace them with on hand.

You’re doing great! I always tell my kids, you can’t change mean people but you can learn from them how NOT to act! Sounds like you did that. Sorry they were mean to you.
