Tonight is going to be a fun food/drinking extravaganza. My group of friends from the pool are all getting together to cook, we are each going to make a dish or mocktail l (none of us drink) that we want to try out. Our one friend has a gigantic kitchen so we won’t get in each others way. Then she also has an equally Impressive size hot tub that is totally private for optional skinny dipping. Most of these gals are fairly healthy eaters but not obsessively so. Such a great group to hang around with. We are working on all going on some kind of a 10 day trip together—- that s the purpose of the get together. I’ll pass along any good recipes I get

Morticia— there are now some wonderful non-alcoholic (less than .05%) wines and hard alcohols like gin, whisky and rum, vodka that taste very close to the real thing. Maybe a person wouldn’t drink the “hard stuff” plain but in a Bloody Mary, margarita, etc, I couldn’t tell the difference. Maybe it still wouldn’t be appropriate for a recovering alcoholic but for the average person they are great. I usually buy the brand FRE champagne and Stella Rossi makes some incredible flavors — I really like the peach flavor. It tastes like REAL PEACHES. SO I MAKE PEACH Bellinis. Tonight I am making a POM PRINCESS with hibiscus tea, POM wonderful pomegranate juice and the FRE brut champagne. They are delicious

Tim Vail—funny you say that.there are two guys who are actually part of our 7 person motley crew. Both swimmers, hikers just like we all are. One of the guys was part of the original 3 of us that started this little friends group and we have just gathered other people in as we have gone along.
