How do you manage one meal a day and when do you have it? I think I mainly want to eat during the day because I am bored at work. I would have to eat in the morning and I am sure such a big meal will make me want to sleep.

Hey! Sorry - haven’t been online and only saw some of the questions now 🙂 @candypoetrygirl - I started with Keto about a year ago, but didn’t incorporate it with IF. I only started doing proper keto OMAD in January. I also do take breaks and break my routine (because, you know, balance 💁🏼‍♀️) it has helped me significantly and I see Keto OMAD as my routine and lifestyle with some occasions where I would break out of my routine and not do Keto or OMAD. 🙂

Hi Standsuz! I eat around midday (usually around 12pm). I won’t lie to you - OMAD is quite difficult, but once it’s a routine, it’s actually quite easy. I like that I don’t constantly have to measure and weigh food to estimate my calorie intake and macros throughout the day - you only have to do it once. It’s all about a mindset that you just have to create. I drink lots of water and cold coffee during the day, so whenever I get a hunger pang - I just have a glass of water. If you make your OMAD meal a keto meal you would probably not feel tired (you don’t have as much of a sugar spike (insulin) when you don’t have carbs or sugar) so you won’t have that “down” and sleepy feeling.

I can imagine it also helps to not be thinking and counting calories to your next meal and thus not having food on your mind the whole day.
