Intermittent Fasting approx 16 &18 hours about 4-5x weekly. 45 minute HIIT & Shadow boxing 3-5x weekly. Calorie restriction varied between 1300-1700 calories per day. I eat things with wheat like bread, pasta etc very rarely as they do me no good Ito bloating/water retention, other than that I eat pretty much whatever I want but track it all. lots of veggies and loads of lean protein like chicken, tuna, ostrich. Eggs, cheese and avo and dark chocolate are as important to me as oxygen 😉 I also don't drink very much. maybe only stiff gin every other weekend.

oh. just to add when I started I didn't think I could have as much flexibility in my plan as I do now ... I thought I had to be 110% in all the time until it burnt me out. I used that initial period to work on changing many bad habits over built up over the years. now I understand that to keep this as a lifestyle,I need the flexibility for mental endurance. I don't buy into the wagon theory... we're not falling off anything because we ate too much one day or indulged in something , I believe that these are mental breaks & if tracked can lead to long term maintenance.

I’m not on any meal plan. I eat what I enjoy eating, I just keep the high calorie foods to a minimum... most days😬I would say I have a balanced diet. I eat fruit, veg, protein from animal products and I still have sugar in my coffee, plus diary. I don’t cut any food groups out. Including refined carbs. I just keep them to a minimum. A block or two of milk chocolate won’t do harm. Or a piece of cake. If it fits into your calories for the day imo. It might cause a bit of water retention but it isn’t real fat. I follow the CICO(calories in, calories out)mentality. I’m on my feet a lot most days so my RDI can range from 1700-2100 per day. My average last week was 2078cals. I’m not very tall. Only 1.6m. I do walk a lot as well. I’m burning the food I eat. I just like to over indulge more than I should lol The only exercise I do, is walking. Walking is underrated. Minimal recovery time. You burn so much fat plus it brings down your stress level. Making weight loss even easier. I try to drink more water than any other beverage as it speeds up your metabolism. Better yet, it doesn’t contain any calories. The cheapest weight loss tool there is. Forget all these other weight loss products. No offense to those that sell and use them. I naturally intermittent fast. If I’m hungry. I will eat. I don’t care to stick to any schedule. As long as I don’t eat over my RDI. It shouldn’t really make a difference. I prefer to not eat too late because of quality sleep. If I eat too close to bed time, I have a hard time sleeping. I’m trying to keep my food choices healthy 80% of the time. I’m not in a rush to get all the weight off either. That was my mistake before, countless times. This time. I’m doing things differently. Hoping to get down to goal weight in the time it takes, no set time. If I lose 200 grams a week. I will be ecstatic. I’m Going to take a relaxed approach. Hoping eventually when I do reach goal, to stay there longer than 2years.... lifestyle, lifestyle, lifestyle 🧘‍♂️

So I'm pretty much in the same boat I've just adjusted my lifestyle a bit cause I've tried so many times to get the weight off after having kids it just seemed to pile on I've always been a chubby person from small and I've never ever seen myself 'thin' but I've had a wake up lately went to the doc and found out I have a medical condition tats not caused by the weight but is Def not making it easy to over come the condition doc and research says I can control and even eliminate the condition all together if u loose the weight and get into my healthy weight range.. So I guess this time it's not about how I look more about feeling and being healthier I've also adopted workouts into my lifestyle even if it's just taking a walk with the kids.... I've been focusing on eating solid means with mostly natural foods like veg, meat and I opt for healthier versions of foods I enjoy like instead of having a normal burger I'll make a chicken pettie with a wholewheat roll satisfying my craving and not damaging my progress my next app with the doc is in 5 months hoping to reach somewhere near my goal by then I do keep dark chocolates around and if I really lis for some junk food I'll eat it and try to work pass it... I guess it's just about getting into the right mind set I'm hoping this would be the last time I start all over and I get to where I'd love to be... Also feel like I need to better myself and my health for my husband and kids as I'd like to life my life to the fullest for them

I used to do keto. but now I'm just sticking to keeping my calorie count under 1700. it's really too much on my proverbial plate to measure how much fat, carbs and protein I take in. don't know yet if this will work as well though, but I will know by Thursday. enjoy your journey.

I try for 40:30:30. 40% carbs, and 30% each for protein and fats. Also like to keep my carbs around 150 most of the time.

Shame, how does one get gout from keto? I thought you get gout from high acidity. Not high fat. Acid and fat are opposite. Acid burns fat? I am confused now.

I know. It's really painful. My dad had gout about 4 years ago because of too much acidic foods. He ate tomatoes and berries and lemons almost every day. The doctor told him he could lose his foot from the gout if he wants to carry on especially with tomatoes. And here I thought lemons were more acidic. Anyway. I've seen it and it looks really painful. My dad then started keto without all the acids and he never had going again. I guess it depends from person to person

I track my macros and it works really well because I have a lot more flexibility with a lot less guilt

I'm averaging a 1000 calories deficit with a whole lot of exercise. (cardio and weights) lost about 3 Kg in 14 days so far. Still huge though, hate my body.

Hey... I see we basically have the same goal!! Let's be buddies please!! I need someone to do this with me. So basically I am following the 75day hard challenge. I'm on day 6. I am vegan and following a 1200 calories eeting plan. A typical dya would be me having a shake in the morning which just hypes me up and keeps me full until 2-ish then I make myself a vegan chicken wrap and for supper I eat something small and during the dya if my calories allow it I snack
