Wow some talent there indeed. It's stunning....what I sometimes do... I take a piece or small portion of something I really like and keep it in the fridge/freezer for my cheat meal which I do once a week... Maybe you can do that so you don't miss out...

Thanks Ladies. @ lessthan15, i know my limits and did some sampling of the individual items going into the cake while baking, but knew i had to get this chocolate bombshell out of the house, so i dropped it outside the birthday grannies house at 7am this morning.

They did me a favour by asking my wife to bake. I then joined in the party and made it a bake off between my wife and i, which kept us busy and distracted for most of the afternoon. Wife made a spicy carrot cake, i did the one in the pic. Was good fun. The granny is not my granny, it a friendly neighbours in our estate
