Had three fried figs and scrambled eggs for breakfast yesterday. Sweet and lovely. If you havent noticed, when you fry or bake a fig it becomes much sweeter

@FatMike... my favourite are glazed figs on really mature cheddar .mmmmm. I personally haven't cooked figs before. But I'm definitely going to give it a try. It's one of those things that I've usually only bought as a preserve, so fresh is still quite novel to me. They are delish!!

We have fig trees this time of year we eat fresh and cook loads of jam and glazed figs luckily I only eat it once in a while but the mangoes is my weakness and peaches and apricots and it doesn't help to have it all in treas around us
