I’ve been stalling with weight loss, and I realised that I was not drinking enough water. It’s been a really busy, exhausting week and I’ve been sticking to the plant based, but not always whole food. A saving grace for me has been the Fry’s ‘meatballs’ which are great in the airfryer.
I dropped almost half a kilo after upping my water intake. Good way to end the weekend.
This week’s goals: track my food better, keep up with the fibre and protein, and 3l water daily :)

This week I found my groove a bit more. I got tired of the bean curry vibes and increased my daily calorie count to about 1400. Focus is still on fibre and protein. I have been enjoying salads with leafy greens, tofu/tempeh and mango, and for breakfast, wholewheat seeded sourdough (homemade) with beans and a spread of pesto or avo.. this has been a great source of fibre and protein - 2 slices = 18g fibre and 18g protein and it keeps me full until past lunchtime.
I caught a bug the last couple of days, which threw out my blood sugars, but they’re back to normal now, which is great. :)

I’ve been eating more calories this week, as I was feeling a bit weak (I think I caught a bug, but because I’ve not been eating dairy, I didn’t get all sinusy).
Still focused on fibre, protein and water, and now also making sure to get calcium-rich foods like tofu and tahini etc in.
I’m excited for my Babylonstoren delivery this morning - I’ve been pinteresting some amazing recipes to try out this week :)
