Good afternoon FS friends,
So the high winds are now at a mere 59kmph and blizzard conditions have abated. The sun is finally shining. It's a balmy (Not) -7C here (feels like -17C with the wind chill) Have been summoning up the courage to go out and shovel the snow so my littles can get out the back door. They are pad trained, so able to potty during storms. I'm dreading going outside, as since losing some weight, I get much colder more quickly. Multiple layers and snow pants should help.
Decided that my reward for completing the task will be a nice hot protein coffee followed by a long soak in the Jacuzzi.
Hi ho, Hi ho....it's off to shovel I go

Cold exposure and a cardio/lifting workout! Wooohoooo you should be in a serious fat burn after that!!!

Hopefully yes Debra. Am ravenous though. Took much longer than I expected as my hands aren't fully functional yet and the bigger push bucket shovel, well with 80+ lbs gone from my frame there is less momentum than there was as a bigger person. Good workout though and didn't get chilled at all. Where I thought that it would be the light fluffy snow given the temperature, it wasn't. the first few lowest inches were that heavy wet stuff that wants to keep sticking to the shovel. Done. More snow in the forecast and am ready for it.

Hello Annisworkingonit, what an awful sad story how awful. When I was little, I used to sit on my Mummy's knee and drink a hot chocolate. I watched Corrie since it started in black and white. Then, as soon as it finished up to bed toilet and teeth brush. I remember the first Emmerdale too it was called Emmerdale Farm. Never missed one. Take care and have a good Thursday. Merry Mel 😍
