Happy Sunday FS friends

So I've learned more about myself during this week of recovery. I am now so used to being active, whether in the yard, in the house or at the gym that with the current limitations in place I'm going buggy. Add some snow, then copius amounts of rain into the equation...bah. What do I do when going buggy? Eat. On a positive note though, I don't think anybody gains a ton of weight on canteloupe (on sale). Not that this is a good thing as the consumption had nothing to do with hunger and everything to do with boredom. Another thing to be aware of going forward on this journey

Tomorrow is the post op followup, and if the feeling in my hand is anything to go by, it is healing well. Won't know til they take the bandages off though.

Good news. The tundra swans have arrived for their regular pre Christmas stay on the river. They have the weirdest calls, highly identifiable from other birds. The eagle pair is back now too. They weren't as visible when nesting earlier in the year, but the last few days I've been watching them fishing on the river. Love where I live. So blessed.

Over and out

I seldom see swans here but we do have eagles flying overhead. They live at the lake - a half mile from here.
