Happy Sunday FS friends

Surgery is done. Yay. 2 minutes 36 seconds. Weirdly you watch the whole thing as it is happening. Slice open the palm, watch the scalpel go in, a bit of slicing, in go the scissors, watch them travel under the skin from the palm up the wrist and presto. Finished. Bandage, go home. The good news is that I have partial use of 4 fingers (no thumb for now) so that helps get things done. Folding laundry using ring and middle finger. Slow, but doable. Pain, none. Itchy, unscratchable palm? Oh yes..Maybe that means a lottery win? Or just the process of healing beginning.

Used the food processor before the appointment yesterday. Wow. Fridge is loaded up with prepped veggies for the week. The thing diced my turnips in seconds flat. How was this machine not part of my repertoire all along?

Today will be a quiet day as I'm to keep the arm above the heart to minimise swelling, so a Netflix day it will be. Tomorrow? Christmas tree decorating.

Over and out
