Sorry journal. Didn't post yesterday but for chronicling purposes will do so now. Weather much colder 3C, so more energy. Went to the gym. Did my usual cardio and weights. From the gym, off to Niagara Falls Casino to meet a friend with tickets to see Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard (season 2 American Idol). Great show. On the positive front 20lbs meant that I could go from 4X pants to 3X pants and they weren't tight. Whoop whoop. On the discouraging side was the minimal loss of .8 lb last week. Then again the prior week was a bigger loss (likely dehyrated at weigh in given excess cofee consumption the day prior) Anyways, remain on track on the whole.

Today, another cold day. Have puttered about and waiting for a friend who is coming for a 4 day visit. Mealtimes with this particular friend is a challenge as he is a cook and tends to slather everything with butter / oil. He knows the journey I'm on, and does try to help though. Easiest workaround seems to be the the portein is common to both, the veg as well (he just slathers his after I get mine) carb source is diffent, salad is shared but dressing done seperately. Weird, but so far it's working.
