A “best by” date is different than an expiration date so you have plenty of time. If you are not sure make a shake for a friend, not your best friend of course, and see what happens.

Love the pun otb. Yeah, I wasn't sure if something in the protein powder could spoil. Like crackers taste stale when they're past their prime, will the protein powder taste off?

eventually the color will start to turn more brown but that could take 2 or more years that package will be long gone by the time you will notice any difference
