This is a tough season— Halloween and all things pumpkin. Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin snickerdoodles, pumpkin doughnuts and applesauce donuts and apple fritters. Fun to make and fun to give away to friends and gym mates. Night hike last night so I took the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and many brought lightly spiked rum or whisky cocoa for a tailgate before we headed home. Exercise, socialization and lots of fun wrapped into one.
