ok, I think I'm done having a pity party for myself. I think...
I've done so much stretching over the past few weeks it's ridiculous, but even more so the last few days. My foot is back to normal feeling, but I'm going to stick to cycling and maybe swimming so I can run with my SIL next weekend. It's her first half and it is in Napa!
Also, let me say that biking is harder than I thought it would be. The part of my body that has to sit on that thing called a seat hurts. Like it is not comfortable. Also, I could barely do 10 miles before my quads were like, girl, you need a break. So kudos to any person who does long bike rides. (Matt, I'm looking at you, kid. yfritz, too damn. and even Tim, I think! Ya'll are my heroes)
I also did some yoga (and some foot yoga) that might have made me feel better, but the video I did this time didn't really work my arms as much. It did work on my balance though, which God knows needs work if I keep getting plantar fasciitis. Shout out to f.k.a. confidencemaven (I cannot remember your new name) for giving me the tools to pull myself out of this rut, or at least get me on the first or second rung of the ladder.
Now hopefully I can keep up the positive attitude, lest I have another breakdown which helps no one.
