Finishing up a 2-litre bottle of ginger ale from 3 weeks ago...helped with the 'disgusting' hamburger. I'm getting meat-aversion again. Just something happens from time to time, various foods, neither rhyme nor reason. It just is.

And forget about trying to become vegetarian; I don't tolerate that at all. I'm blood type O and I need a fairly high percentage of animal protein to feel well. I don't follow the "Blood Type Diet" religiously but it certainly does fit what I can and can't do well with, although one of the 'not good' foods (white potatoes) is actually something I can eat when not able to tolerate anything else. This is so true that while I had forgotten my blood type, when I read down the lists of good, fair, bad, I knew immediately because those lists looked like they'd been tailor-made for me. A few foods make me sick almost immediately, e.g., catfish, green peppers, eggplant, and some herbs, St. John's wort and Echinacea. Some of the 'good' list I actually crave from time to time: tart cherries, blueberries, prunes (plums) (and they have a noticable positive effect on all of the auto-immune isues)! I really am trying to let food be my medicine and vice versa. Time will tell.
