It's been an insane 5 weeks
I have a freak accident with my stepson in September and ended up needed a vulvulus oper where I almost died. Spent 4 weeks learning to eat again and this week my brother died from a stroke. He was younger than me but led a seriously unhealthy lifestyle.
I'm not sure if it's from the op experience but for the first time food is not my go to for comfort.

I am truly sorry to hear about your brother and accident. I am happy though that you learned to get passed that point of always needing food for comfort. Now you can replace it with light cardio or even walking. The WHO once said that to be healthy you need to walk 10 000 to 15 000 steps daily. But before you know it, you'll be doing so without getting tierd

I am so sorry, take it easy and be kind to yourself. Don't worry about eating not eating the right food now. You can only do your best in a difficult situation. So whatever comes be kind to yourself.
