Being stuck in the 90's really annoys me. 😬
I have been working out and eating below my calorie budget but nothing want to happen on the darn scale. Even measuring is at a stand still. But I am all pumped up for my 1st Half Marathon on Friday. This week is going to be a very low carb and high protein week for me. No bread, no alcohol, no sugar. Maybe I will see a slight change next week. It kinda makes one a bit depro when you know you are doing the right thing and then your body and scale just ain't talking the same language.

Have a look at your protein intake. It's really low.

Individual variation exists. There are some useful rules of thumb, though: Sedentary people : 0.8 to 1.0 grams of bodyweight Moderately active (i.e. low intensity execisers) need a bit more : about 1.2g per kg Active indivuals and athletes: on average 1.5 to 2 grams of bodyweight. I noticed MevCHamman trains like an athlete, so her protein intake may be insufficient (unless medical reasons preclude higher protein intake.) Here's a nice link, which is reviewed and evidence based: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/how-much-protein-per-day

Oh, I forgot to mention: since muscles burn energy, it serves us well to increase our muscle mass, which will in turn have a positive effect on fat loss.

S&P, carbs are tricky. It took me about 2 years to get my balance right. Experiment with it. For people with a BMI of above 40, bariatric dieticians and surgeons recommend a very low carb diet BUT it has to be monitored in terms of kidney function and liver function. Many people get sick if things aren't monitored and adapted regularly.
