I dont, i just move on from it the next day or next meal, and get back on the wagon. Important mind set is to get out of diet mode and into lifestyle mode. Lifestyles should have enjoyment, eating lekker food and etc... but in moderation... one bad meal is not going to right the book on your journey.

Thank you FatMike (its really odd typing the name btw:) it happened again today-argggghhh How long is a slump though? I dont want to normalize not sticking to the meal plan. the issue is when I go off the rails; it's not just a bite of chocolate but it's like a food armageddon- I eat everything in site :(

We all slip up, unfortuantely, or most of us do. It is okay to come off the rails now and then - so long as it is now and then only. Chalk it up, move on and stick to mostly good eating. It all will balance out. :)

Table spoon of apple cider vinegar in the morning and evening helps with cravings for me.

Remember the 80:20 rule. A lifestyle is healthy eating (80) makes room for life (20) while a diet is a temporary eating pattern. So if there’s an event, plan around it / prepare yourself then get back to healthy eating. Let me give you an example : 2 weeks ago, I found out on Monday that the coming Friday there was a buy-one get one free donut special at PnP. So all week, I ate clean, stuck to healthy eating patterns (intermittent fasting and keto) and daily workouts. Then Friday when I broke fast, I indulged! I ended up eating four 🙊 but I ate little else (2 oranges and grilled piece of chicken) and lots of water to wash it down. Then Saturday, was back on the wagon👍🏾 Had negligible effect on scale!

Thank you so much FS family. To be honest this whole week has been a binge eating disaster! I like to think if I've already cheated once, may as well make the cheating worth it and go full out. I'm losing the weight loss battle cause my thinking is weak! I lack strength and will power. There are people here 50kg heavier than me and I envy them. They have what it takes to keep going and be disciplined. This is such a battle

So you are 80kg’s. oh the days when i was 80kg.... on the beach.... in the sun.... play squash and skydiving... then i got to 100kg and i was a fit 100kgs..... and then 120kg and i saw i had a problem and tried diets.... then 140kg and back pains, knee pains, too heavy to skydive, activities became a problem, and them i grew and grew cause i passed that threshold we exercise was difficult and therefore weight gain doubled in speed. Then hit 160kgs and thats uncomfortable, got to sit on a stair to put shoes on, toilet time is not easy etc... then 185kg came ..... so my short storey is to paint that 10 year picture, where you bullshit yourself into saying you still fine, you mobile, you don't care if you fat or not... but the reality is you do care and believe me at 80kgs you still nice and functional, mobile, etc. Take the time to get the head right cause when you pass that threshold its difficult to come back from. #beeninyourshoes
