Working out hard makes you retain water due to overworked sore muscles. Don't judge your progress by the weight on a scale alone :)

thanks BBO, have been training everyday for the last 4 weeks, and the scale doesn't want to budge, and the only time i eat something that Im not supposed to it skyrockets. sooo frustrating

Denise when you eat carbs your body stores them as glycogen and for every 1gram of glycogen, your body stores 3g to 4g water. This is why we see the weight skyrocket after a little bit of eating offplan. Training everyday can cause weight to go up as you gain muscle mass. Don't stress about weight. As long as you are following your plan and being active, your body fat will drop and u will look slimmer and your measurements will show this loss :)

You are welcome Denise. That's what we are here for! To share what we learnt with others so they can keep their sanity.

BBO has it spot on. Initial weight gain or a spike after hard workouts means one thing: you are working your body, it will start to burn more calories to keep your muscles in an anabolic state. So, you've got this. Keep going.
