Windy Day's Journal, 29 Apr 24

New strategy for me. Sugary snacks are my weakness, so since I cant seem to beat them entirely I will try a different approach. I will treat myself to one protein bar with a Matcha latte (made with 10 cal almond/coconut creamer) every evening, but that is it for sweets for the day. If I kind of turn it into a special mindful and scheduled thing, maybe that will help with the spontaneous cravings. Idk. But at least the protein bars at 140 calories have 12g protein. And this will be my switch at the end of the day to cut off all food after that. Cant hurt. Hope everyone is doing well in their weight loss goals. Whatever it takes. Have a great one peeps!

Good plan. That's what I did....and still do. I plan a sweet treat for after dinner. For me, it was often an Outshine fruit pop or sugar free jello with whipped cream during weight loss phase.

Snacks are my weakness. Both salty and sweet. Good luck with the new plan.

I wish you luck. Some people are able to do this successfully. Sadly, I cannot. However, I have found that if I eat fatty meat, like a ribeye or 80/20 ground beef my sugar and carb cravings go away. Cheers to you.

Good plan. My go to is a 1/2 protein bar when I'm craving something sweet. My problem is I crave salty as well. I bought a bag of pre and thought I'd have like 5 when I get that craving but noooo....I end up eating like 20!!! I don't buy them anymore.
