You can do it. 💪🏻 Definitely agree with Heidi, frozen meals are not only a time saver but definitely a healthier choice when not in the mood to cook. I like to make a variety to not get bored.

Also go slow. If we start hectic, we can't stay in the game, so we eat all the junk food. Then we feel bad and feel angry and hopeless...so we give up. Don't fall into that trap.

never give up, this journey is not easy and sometimes takes time to figure out. Don't be too hard on yourself. Good luck xx

Hey Nthabi, you’ve got this ,just focus on changing one thing at a time, be kind to yourself, take the past trials as lessons learned to equip you better for this journey ahead

You've got this! Been struggling with weight my entire life! I've never stuck to a diet for more than two weeks. I'm currently 4 weeks in, I've lost 6.1kg. I'm FAR from my goal but my mindset is different this time around. It's a lifestyle change. Goodluck.

Thank you all so much for the kind words, I don't know how to respond to individual comments so I'll just respond here. @Lambet the last time I could lose weight I think I had time to prepare the meals and actually enjoyed playing with different recipes, now I don't have as much time to cook food that are nice enough to eat so I end up resorting to takeaways rather instead of having food I won't enjoy. I think I'm going to take @Heidis suggestion and meal prep maybe on a Sunday for the week. Again thank you all so much 🥹 I never knew there's this much support here, sometimes one tends to feel alone in this journey.

Something that helps a lot if you tend to go for junk food is to plan your snacks. If you know what to do BEFORE you break, it is much easier. My snacks on the days I feel my willpower is low is diet coke (any diet soda) and biltong snap sticks ( I look for the ones with no fat). What snacks will satisfy you and keep you on your diet? This video has a lot of ways to keep food tasty but still stay on your diet. I hope you find something that works for you: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aAzN2efRXns

Please don’t give up, take it one step at a time, focus on the basics and most importantly of all, be patient! Reach out if you need guidance!
