Well- there it is.🙈 I didn't want to post it even though I weigh daily but as always I think- why would I be on a calorie counting site to get healthy if I am too embarrassed to post. I don't know these people. So- paying some bills online and going to the gym- then going to the grocery store now that I have eaten every unhealthy thing in the house to get some decent options. My back hurts, my knee hurts, my ankles hurt from trying to support so much weight again. My clothes don't fit. I'm down to 2 pairs of jeans that I had to buy and neither is flattering. I am living in oversized sweatshirts (which actually has always been my style so that's a bit dramatic to write.🙂) I'm winded going up the steps. My skin looks worse (I think- not sure). Only beach towels fit around me when I get out of the shower. I could go on and on- but like I said- I have to get to the gym. Mostly I am just embarrassed. Embarrassed of posting on here, embarrassed of running into people I haven't seen in awhile, embarrassed to go to the gym and be the fat girl who is just in the way. But I am also hopeful. I expect to lose 4-5 pounds overnight as my body goes into shock from not having 3-4K calories today and then it will slow and the real test will begin. So... Yep- that's me. I should update my profile pic but why punish myself further. Wish me luck. ❤️, Sara. No H.

You got this and you acknowledge it. This is so hard but you outlined all the reasons why you should lose the weight. I write down 3 goals every month and try to hit them to get to my goals. It doesn't always work but the key is just what you are doing here - keep trying, come back, go at it again maybe a different way. You will find the way that you eventually can sustain. It is hard and this is the place to post.

My profile picture is from when I lost 50 pounds around 2018. Need to lose 30 pounds to get back to that weight. I don't have pictures taken of me when I am this overweight! The 1st is this coming Monday. I'm setting a goal again of 1 pound a week even though it didn't work last year it still seems reasonable. I know measure 1 teaspoon for my coffee. It's sweet enough but it's either that or stop drinking coffee. It will take me about 20 more pounds at least to go down a pant size. At least this time of year sweat pants are fine to wear everywhere I go. You will succeed in 2024!

I think you’re a strong woman who just got a little off track. Many of us eat our emotions during the holidays and other stressed related incidents. I have to get back on track and your post motivated me to try again. Good luck! And thank you! 😊

it takes so much courage to put yourself out there, so great job! The best way to get results is with a community so you are doing the right and getting support. Easier said then done but try not to be to hard on yourself and build on small wins and know that we all are on a journey. What I'm working on which may help you to is being your own number 1 fan and coach! Positive talk! You got this!

Give yourself one goal today. Remind yourself of one blessing. And tell yourself one thing you LOVE about yourself. Do it today. Then do it again tomorrow. Remember your body is the housing for your mind and soul. Tend all of them. 🫶🏻 Roadblocks and detours happen. You are strong!

I gained 2-3 kg I had lost recently as well. Mainly due to the holidays and eating more baked goods and less exercise because everyone I did activities with was busy. Now to get back on track.

I support you and hope that you are able to start and stay on track! It's hard because it happens so frickin fast and takes so much work and effort to get back to where you want to be. But, the end result is worth the hard work. Your body will thank you. My one piece of advice is to set an end goal but also set mini goals. I find that easier to achieve. Reward yourself with non food items. You can do this..always remember that!

Don’t sweat it. We slip up, we do things we’re not happy with and we learn. Take one step at a time and focus on the positive changes you’re making instead of the steps you took to get to a place you’re unhappy.

I feel the same way but tell myself what I want for me, no one else, FOR ME. each day is a new start to get to where I want to be as my awesome weight. I'm rooting for YOU!

this is my first day on this app and I'm really struggling with weight loss and my weight makes me very insecure. I will start using this app tomorrow so that I start the new year off to a great start. my goal is to lose 15 pounds by the end of the year!

I know just how you feel, you just put my feelings out there precisely. But honey, dont ever be embarrassed here. We are all in the same boat that's why we're here. Some are further to reaching their goals than others, but we all have had the same feelings and share in the same struggles. I know you can do this. We are all doing this together. You got this!
