Happy Sunday! I am going to work out today and enjoy my day off. Here are some of my hydrangeas this morning. I love all of their colors... bright or subtle!

Thanks so much, guys! I am so grateful for flowers and the beauty of nature! I wish I could send you a bouquet, wifey! Mermee, I have the one dark pink hydrangea bush (mother's day gift one of my girls got at safeway) that is sort of "color-fast." The others are becoming more and more blue. The variegated purple was Pepto Bismol pink when I got it a few years ago. In our soil here, it is hard to keep them pink. MattRide, my hydrangeas get nothing but Seattle rain. :) Again, Truly, I appreciate that my friends here enjoy the the flowers. I don't usually photograph my food. I prefer to share the calorie free "treats" I am enjoying.

These are gorgeous! Hope you had a great day off! We just got back from Wisconsin this afternoon. I will have to text you a picture of the fish I caught with my brother in law. ;)

rcguenth, I really can take so little credit for these. They need water some shade and sun and to not be over pruned. They just want to grow here. Maybe someday you will find a hardy bush that wants to bloom for you! Thank you all! You need to send me more pics than fish, Princess!

To keep hydrangeas pink, you need alkaline soil.

Thanks, folks! Our climate is conducive to growing flowers that enjoy the damp! The rain is good for that! I give these guys a ton of water during the drier months, and they are thankful! ☺️ Shir, I've thought about using soil additives. Ours is pretty acidic. But, I'm too lazy or cheap or... Maybe I just love blue!
