Back in the saddle.. I know this works and to be honest this time it is not a choice.. but a necessity. The more the clock keeps ticking, the more gravity takes hold and boy I am no longer that young man that could stuff 3 burgers down my throat without consequence.
Sitting here 3 years south of 40 (OMG more like 2.5) Not to be "that guy" I wonder where my obsession with my weight began? Now I probably have the same story everyone else has.. my mother and her pedantic consistent crusade to try every solution known (as was expected at the time) to drop the kilos in that ever up hill battle to have that svelte physique. Or was it that article I read when I was 16 of that really gorgeous boy that had had lost all that weight and became a model?
Who knows... I guess the aim is not to put myself down but to finally forgive myself for thr torture I put myself through.. vicious cycles have
no end unless you put a stop to them.
Here is to my new journey.
