Week 8 done! Target of 8kgs achieved! I now realise that if I'd been as strick with my diet over the past 8 weeks as I was on the last week I would have lost almost 12kgs.but you know what I have done restrictive diets with no fun foods and I've failed as I've missed my wine, Krispy Kreme and chocolate. So now I'm doing things differently and praying for a different outcome. Here's to 3 months of dedication, target lose: 12kgs. All the best everyone. Week 9 begins!
94.6 kg Lost so far: 8.3 kg.    Still to go: 31.7 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 1.6 kg a Week

Hi Ultramel Honey (love that!). I've stopped following diets and just rely on CICO. I do use sugar substitutes like xylitol in my coffee. I work out minimum 3x a week. Doing HIIT with some weights. I find calorie counting makes all the difference so definitely invest in a kitchen scale and know what and how much food you're. I eat 1200-1500 calories and about 3 times a week I'll have dessert like cookies, cinnabon buns limit these as they are very high calories! But I even eat some lays chips. The key is to use an kitchen scale and measure out exactly how much as a serving of lays is a lot smaller than we think or would like it to be! I work from home which limits my movements, so I invested in a fitness Garmin watch and every hour it reminds me to get up which I do and get in some steps. This has made such a difference as I was averaging a mere 1000 steps a day, now I can easily get in 7000 just walking to the gate and back a few times every hour. We can do this, good luck!

Well done!! So happy to see this post after the very first one I saw 😃 very happy to hear you’re not completely restricting! (Always ends up in a crash). Again, well done on your progress and choices! 👏

You're welcome ultramel :). @MadenB I bought a whole lot of low carb products such as caulirice, cauliflower noodles. As I was eating those I really had to admit I wasn't enjoying and just couldn't see myself eating those in 6 months time😞. I realised I had lost before I have truly begun and had to really reevaluate. I read up on more diets and with each asked myself if I can eat like this is 1 year, 2yrs or 10 yes time. The rest was easy, I knew I wasn't the type to never eat rice or chocolate so here we are😁😁😁. Counting calories works for me, some one else may hate weighing everything so hey may we each find what works for us. Thanks so much for the support❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Louise and Tinker Bella, might as well be my own number one cheerleader and if it inspires a few people along the way, then I'm truly happy :)
