davidsprincess's Journal, 26 Dec 21

Lasagna, ham, corn pudding, broccoli rice casserole, meat and cheese tray, shrimp, veggies, salad, garlic bread, olives, crackers, chocolate chip cookies, salted caramel cookie cups, peanut butter chocolate pie, apple pie, peanut butter cookies, brownies, peppermint bark. We hosted a few of my family at our house and I guess I thought I was cooking for an army and got a little carried away. It was delish. Everything was good but I overcooked the broccoli rice casserole. It was a little dry. The lasagna was awesome and is always better on day 2- in my opinion. I will go to the gym today and get this house in order. Tables and chairs to break down and put back in the basement. Endless dishes to wash. If not for being the first Christmas without my brother, it could have been a favorite. Diablo found me a way to play super mario and killer instinct again. I can play atarti, nintendo or Super Nintendo. I think he bought it partially for himself, but I can share. Can't wait until the 1st of the year- getting back at it today. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! So much work to have company- I don't know how others do it. It was insane for me trying to get it all ready. And cooking and baking while 60 degrees outside- had to turn off the heat and open all the windows for a bit. But we are beyond blessed. It was a lovely day. 🎄❤️🤸‍♀️🥗🍖🍤🍝🥧🍰🥦🥕

Thanks! I would never expect someone to help me. My mom was trying but it took forever just putting the food away. Besides- anyone who helps doesn't do it right. haha.

Sounds like a great gathering! Food sound delicious. I'm in Calif for 2 weeks with my sister's and mom. We always say this might be her last Christmas but she keeps going. 94 and she still loves being around her family. I'm trying to get back to my healthier shape and I look forward to seeing pictures of you at the gym in 2022. You have incredible muscles, especially your shoulders and back and you always inspire me me with your workouts. One thing I've noticed is muscle memory is real. You will see it quickly once you get back into your routine. Best of luck to you on this journey!💜💜🙏💜🙏💪💪

Merry Christmas!!!! Sounds like your house was the place to be. I recall that you like the cleaning part. It’s our least fave 😁

Sounds like a wonderful celebration ❤ It's a huge job hosting...even if everyone contributes. That's the way we do it in our family.

Merry Christmas my friend. I’m glad you were able to celebrate with family around this year.

I don't think overeating is necessary to enjoy times with loved ones, especially if it results in pain and suffering afterwards. Unfortunately we have become a society that cheers each other into erroneous behaviors other, because we are afraid to speak the truth, or because we enjoy others being at the same level instead of their growth. I remember you from my previous account about a year ago. You were doing great and your confidence was at its peak and growing. I know life happens and sometimes setbacks are a result; but my advice to you is not to juice it and to learn to undo your errors and aim to correct it. Your true identity is in a state of beauty forever and so is your outer appearance. However if you are not happy with your current condition, release all that binds you and dont look for other people's approval into behaviors that lead you into more darkness. Love and light dear heart and may this year bring you much health, wealth and prosperity to the brim!

Merry Christmas DP and family! Sounds like a marvellous feast and so lovely to have your family near. I happened to overcook my broccoli too somehow, but the meal I prepared for my hubby's sister and niece earlier this week was still appreciated and enjoyed by all so I really enjoyed making it for them. Hope you have some time in this festive period to just relax and unwind a little. Enjoy!!! 🎄💕

YogaGnosis- Don't panic. You keep referring to your "previous account" and how well I used to do. It's ok. I don't think anyone on here is cheering me on to get fatter and fatter. I think they know I will get back at it but I am not going to stop weighing in just because I have gained. I do it for me. Forgot to mention the stuffed mushrooms. Yum! Also- I love overeating. Probably always will. No- not necessary but good food makes the good times better. Health, wealth, and prosperity- something I have been fortunate to have this past year and hopefully in 2022. Same wishes for you.

It's always the private accounts...😳With the virtue signaling and Dr Phil life lesson speeches🤣 Glad you had a good time it sounds like for the most part. You'll get back to when you're ready! I promise this isn't cheering you on to get fatter and fatter🙂

Joe, you summed it up nicely.

I try Kat... I'll give her credit she went and made it public after I said that. I don't ever understand the crowd that gives unwarranted advice as they usually hide behind a picture of a smiling celery. If they can give advice then they should show their face and what kind of food they consume regularly imo.

Everything on your menu sounds delicious but my fav, fav, fav is broccoli and rice casserole. I can sit and eat the whole thing.
