Feeling a bit tired today...I think a lot of intense emotion then the long drive home has caught up with me. We got home at 2 AM Sunday morning. The last couple of hours were not fun....rainy with lessened visibility on curvy roads. We slept in quite late then had a breakfast meal. I went to the visitation for the son of good, longtime friends in the afternoon. He was killed in an auto accident last week. He was their only child...only 33 years old.

I also received news that another friend got an excruciating headache while working from home last Monday. Her husband took her to the emergency room & she was rushed in an ambulance to the main hospital the next town over from us. She was experiencing a brain bleed & the doctors had to do emergency surgery. She is still in ICU under observation.

So my emotions have definitely been a roller coaster for this past week.

We just had an abbreviated walk...now time to feed the dogs & make dinner. Salmon, yellow squash & salad on the menu.
65.3 kg Lost so far: 13.1 kg.    Still to go: 4.1 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
