I have been a big girl from birth. A 8 lb. Asian outside of the U.S. is atypical. I grew up under very health conscious parents who believed in vitamins and fresh dairy everyday. Also atypical. We ate alot of fresh veggies & Fish, very little meat or fat in our diet. There was plenty of rice and fruit. So I always remember being hungry even after my brother and I cleaned out everything on the table. My brother and I speed eat otherwise, the slower eater wouldn't get the last scoop of rice.
I was very active and had a high metabolism. But, I always ate like a starving teenager. This is my third serious step towards a healthier lifestyle. Like many, I've tried losing weight the wrong way. Because I want to eat what I want to eat. Work out like a fiend, eat 2 slices of pizza. Starve all day, eat Nachos & drink mojitos. Eat salads and fruit for days, Steak & Cheesy Pasta.
Well, no more. I have said my goodbyes to McDonald's $1 ice cream, Stashes BK onion rings, and KFC.
Working on goodbyes to a mega list of comfort foods. Goodbye to the love smokehouse BBQ ribs, mac & cheese, Shrimp & grits, Fried Chicken & Waffles. No more diner portions bacon cheeseburgers & fries. No more portions or meals that feeds family of four in other countries.

Have a healthy relationship with food. Not the on going love hate relationship. Truly excercise portion control and learn moderation, without being belligerent.

Goals

Learn not to get hangry & overeat.
Excercise the right way with hurting myself
Find balance and activities that are fulfilling so I don't eat out of boredom.
Feel good after meals, and not go into food coma mode.
Enjoy cooking again. Still dont like the cleanup or dish pan hands
97.5 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 29.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
