If my friends would willingly put their friends and family at risk, I would question on how much they value the friendship. I understand that some people can't have the vaccine because of some health conditions, but I know people who follow 'un'social media trends and believe in conspiracy theories. Its a tough one Lallie. You have to decide......x  

Sadly I know many that don’t want to take the vaccine, and some of them were family and passed away from the virus. But you don’t have to agree. Everyone has a choice to take the vaccine or not. But the vaccine won’t be good for long unfortunately. Because the virus mutates. You can still catch the virus if vaccinated. But statistics show. That catching the virus while vaccinated makes you less likely to be hospitalised or severely ill. “Most likely”…there is still a 10% chance that you can still pass away even while vaccinated. But for me, I will be vaccinated regardless. I got the janssen vaccine. That’s what they had at the time. In another 6-8months. I will go for another if needed. When it’s your time to go… there is nothing you can do. But I’m going to at least try to prevent it, and so is my immediate family members. I feel you Lallie💖 

Hi, I think we have to respect everyones personal choices here and if it doesn't suite your choice when they in direct contact then maybe take a step back... I for one am against the vaccine, I question what are the long term effects? We don't know. So many people have died days/ weeks after getting the vaccine, people getting the vaccine then covid then dying because the 'new variant' causes blood clots when if we go back to the beginning of the year in America it was reported people who got the vaccine are getting blood clots and dying... For me, there are too many unanswered questions around the vaccine and I am willing to take the risk by fighting covid rather than getting a vaccine I just don't know what my body is going to do after... Im not against the vaccine, or people getting it. I'm just not confident enough to get it myself and I think if that is how people feel it's okay, my choices with what I want to do with my body shouldn't make anyone else feel any way about that. If they don't want to be around me because I don't have it I am fine with that. I don't think people who are choosing not to get vaccined are going around to their loved ones who are getting the vaccine telling them off... We're all doing our best. My two cents that.

it's a personal choice. we can't judge or blame people who don't want to take it. both our moms are anti Vax... it just unfortunately means that visiting them is risky. but it would be even when we get vaccinated. it's a tough conversation... we can only do what feels right for ourselves, and this world is so trashed anyway.. everyone is stressed, panic, sad, depressed, anxious and in crisis mode... the only thing we can do really is to prioritize our own needs and support with kindness and compassion other peoples needs, even if they're in an opposing position. hubby and I are scheduled for our Vax on Sunday. making it into a date day, getting dressed up, going for breakfast and making it a celebration... because getting vaccinated is something we're both quite happy about. 

Thanks everyone for your great comments. It's hard because my friend just lost her dad. I hear wat everyone is saying. I have managed to have some good conversation with the people i disagree with and i think none of us are angry after. We need to be able to communicate and not hate one another. That is the only way we will find the truth. I think i am emotionally ok now.

Everyone thinks they have a choice but soon you’ll see how compulsory they’re going to make it 😌. It will become a vaccine that’s needed like our yellow fever vaccines. Unfortunately many people will die due to ignorance. It’s been seen in the hospitals where the people have started begging for the vaccine when close to death but it’s too late. Clearly they outweighed that it is better to rather die painfully than take a vaccine. Their choice for now 🙃. Government is playing games though, because that choice will be taken away soon enough. I’m deeply sorry for you and your family. Stay away from these people to save your loved ones though. If they can’t think for others then you’re going to have to ❤️ 

I also have people in my life who won't get the jab for religious/cultural/Stick it to the goverment/Anti 666 etc reasons and I've had to accept that humans will never agree on everything. I just hope that we will get enough vaxxers to get to herd immunity threshold.I can't wait to get that 2nd jab.  

I got my jab, and the very next day Microsoft phoned me to offer me a better deal on a Windows license! Anyone see the hand of Bill Gates in this? Lmao. Just kidding, except for getting my jab none of the rest is true. Just like with previous pandemics, the sceptics will come around eventually.  

Got both my jabs ... second jab was in June. I feel fine.
