Know weighing daily risks my becoming frustrated and discouraged from random weight fluctuations, but looking back over my weight chart I’ve noticed I see a downward trend most consistently when I am logging daily. And logging every single thing I put into my mouth.

Doesn’t work for everyone, but seems to work for me. One of the things I’ve learnt being on FS; see what’s working for others, consider if it may work for you in your context, and try it out. And if you find it doesn’t work for you, no worries!

We have similar weight stats! I also see lots of daily fluctuations. What works for me is logging every time I see a loss even though I weigh everyday and take note of the fluctuations. It keeps me motivated to see a downward trend. But like you said do what works for you and good luck :)

So cool, I love your posts about consistency, it’s so true! I found logging daily - even the upwards fluctuations - keeps me honest with myself. Else I end up in a situation where my ‘official’ FS weight is 2+ kgs below my actual weight but feel too bad to acknowledge I’ve hit a wobbly. The mind tricks we play on ourselves!
